After starting her acting and modeling career at 8 years old with Elite Model Management, she won the title role of “Pippi Longstocking” out of over 8,000 young actresses worldwide for her dynamic talents including acting, singing, dancing, gymnastics/tumbling and horseback riding stunts. Highlights included Royal World Premieres in Tokyo, Japan where Tami Erin was the special guest of the Princess Nori of Japan, as well as in Stockholm, Sweden as the special guest of King Karl and Queen Sylvia.
As an international Actress, Model and United Nations Ambassador for UNICEF, Tami Erin has traveled to 14 countries and over 35 states in the US.
Tami Erin served as a United Nations Ambassador for UNICEF, speaking in multiple countries on behalf of the United Nations about the hunger, education and wartime issues children face globally. Highlights included speaking at the United Nations on World Children’s Day to the delegates of over 100 countries. Other UNICEF Ambassadors include Angelina Jolie, Celine Dion, Selena Gomez and David Beckham.
Tami Erin has trained at some of the most prestigious acting institutes in the country, including the AFI/American Film Institute (Clint Eastwood, Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese), with world-renowned Actor/Acting Coach Jeff Corey, Founder of The Actor’s Lab (Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Jane Fonda, and James Dean among many others), as well as with Molly McCarthy of Lee Strasberg’s Actors Studio in NYC (Marilyn Monroe, Al Pacino, Uma Thurman and Robert De Niro).
Tami Erin has worked with leading Hollywood Directors including Ken Annakin (Disney Legend, Disney Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, and director of over 40 movies), Dennis Dugan (I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, and The Benchwarmers) and Matthew Rolston (America’s Next Top Model, Madonna: The Video Collection, L’Oréal, and Miley Cyrus “The Climb”). Her humanitarian pursuits have revealed her longtime commitment to children worldwide. Her proudest moments were serving as a United Nations Ambassador as well as her charity work with Create Now, where Tami Erin co-designed a line of “Pippi Longstocking” inspired apparel sold in Europe, Japan and throughout the US, with 100% of the profits benefitting Create Now.
